Women's Golf Opens Spring at World Golf Hall of Fame Invitational

Rollins finished tied for 6th out of 16 teams at the Flagler event

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (February 10, 2026) - Women's golf opened up their spring season with a power-packed group of sixteen teams at the Flagler World Golf Hall of Fame Invitational, held at Slammer and Squire. Twelve of the sixteen teams competing in the event were ranked in the Clippd National Top 25 heading into Monday's first round.

The morning session was the best one of the event for the Tars. Lindsay Lee headlined not just the Tars, but all 90 individuals by tying for the lead with a 69 (-3). The freshman from San Antonio cashed in five birdies and an eagle in her opening round to help vault her to the top. Leah Li had a rough start with three consecutive bogeys, but fought back with five birdies in the final 15 holes to finish at an even 72. Sarah Knitter checked in with a 77 (+5) and Alisha Rametra played to an 80 (+8) to round out the team score of 298. Through the first round of action, the Tars were in a tie for third at ten-over.

Round two on Monday afternoon was not kind to the blue and gold. Rametra and freshman Addy Vogt tied for the top score with a 75 (+3). Knitter handed in a 78 (+6) and Li an 89 (+7) to finish the team round of 307. Lee did not qualify for team score in the second, but she did knock down her second eagle of the day on the par four 18th.

The Tars shaved a couple strokes off their score in Tuesday's final round. Li led the pack with a 74 (+2), helped by three birdies in her first five holes. Rametra was one shot behind her at 75 (+3), while Knitter and Vogt each posted 77 (+5) to give Rollins a 302.

When it was all said and done, the Tars found themselves in a tie for sixth alongside Saint Leo with a 908. The host Flagler Saints took the trophy on their home course, finishing with a 883, nine shots higher than runner-up Nova Southeastern. Lander, Tampa, and Florida Southern rounded out the Top 5.

Leah Li had the top finish for Rollins, tying for 20th overall at 225 (+9). Lee and Rametra each finished tied for 33rd with a 230, Knitter was 41st with a 232, and Vogt was tied for 45th with a 233. Kajsa Lindqvist (Lander) and Justine Bayle (Tampa) both finished even overall, with Lindqvist taking the title on the fourth playoff hole.

Sophia Fondenaer also competed for Rollins as an independent, and finished 86th. Her best round was the second in which she shot a 79 (+7).

The Tars will take a week off before heading to Lakeland to play in Florida Southern's Lady Moc Classic on February 23-24 at Grasslands Country Club.
