NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Rollins women's lacrosse team has been selected No. 19 in the IWLCA Division II Preseason Coaches Poll, released Monday.
The Tars are coming off an 8–8 campaign in which they remained nationally ranked for nearly the entire season. The year was highlighted by two Top 25 victories, including wins over No. 17 Limestone and No. 6 Adelphi.
Rollins returns several key contributors for the 2026 season.
Katie Bell led the team in goals a year ago, finishing with 42 while posting a .917 shot-on-goal percentage. In net,
Angelina Vitale paced the squad with a 7–4 record and 56 saves.
Holyn Trautwein controlled the draw circle, leading the team with 73 draw controls while starting all 16 games.
Sydney Nickel also made her mark in the midfield, totaling 22 ground balls and a team-high 19 caused turnovers during the 2025 season.
The Tars will open the 2026 season on Saturday, February 7, hosting Florida Tech at 6 p.m. at the Spur in Winter Park.
