The team has played in two events so far in 2025. They started off with a bang, claiming the trophy at Flagler's Jay Jennison Cup, and followed that with a ninth-place finish at the loaded Copperhead Invitational, hosted by West Florida.

Both events featured standout performances from individual Tars. At Flagler, Jules Haessig led the way to the championship with a six-under 210, finishing just two shots off first. This past weekend, Clarence Chapman III had a fantastic finish, carding seven birdies in round two and a bogey-free round three to tie for second at Copperhead. Chapman is currently ranked #12 in the individual rankings on Clippd, with teammate Sean Dobson joining him in the Top 100 at #84.

On the team side, Rollins sits twelfth with an overall record of 23-8-1. Florida Southern (6th) is the only SSC team ranked ahead of the Tars. Grand Valley State is currently ranked #1 with a 31-1-0 record after four events.

Next up for the Tars is a trip to South Carolina to play on the Fripp Island to Bermuda Invite, hosted by GolfWeek. The individual winner of this unique event will be granted an exemption to play in the PGA Tour Butterfield Bermuda Championship which takes place November 13-16 at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda.
