ORLANDO, Fla. (November 1, 2021) – Rollins sits sixth after 36 holes of the McDonough Cup at Rio Pinar Country Club.Â
William Koepke leads the Tars, and is contention near the top of the leaderboard, sitting in a tie for fourth.

Rollins registered and opening round of 295, to sit in a tie for seventh after 18 holes. Rollins then improved in the second round, shooting a five-under 283, and moving up the leaderboard one spot. The Tars totaled a two over, 578. Rollins is two shots ahead of Palm Beach Atlantic, and only one shot back of Eastern Florida, and a top five spot.

Nova Southeastern, jumped out to a ten stroke lead over the first 36 holes, registering a team score of 15 under. Indianapolis sits second, shooting nine under in the second round to end the first day at five under. Mount Olive sits in third at two under. Fourth place Flagler is the final team under par, at one under. Eastern Florida rounds out the top five at one over par.

Koepke carded rounds of 70 and 71 to pace the Tars. The freshman sits in a seven way tie for fourth at three under par.Â
Rodrigo Rodas recovered from an opening round 78 to shoot the Tars' low round of the day, a 67. Rodas shot a bogey free second 18 holes, recording five birdies. James Piao sits in a tie for 27tth after 36 holes, shooting 146 on the opening day.Â
Warut Wongrungroj registered rounds of 75 and 74, to sit 40
th at 149.Â
Nicholas Diebel rounds out the Rollins lineup. Rollins also had a number of players competing as individuals, headlined by
Connor Jensen, who sits in a tie for 15
th at even par.

Javier Callas leads the field at seven under par. The Nova Southeastern Shark did not register a bogey for his first 34 holes of the tournament. Flagler's Nic Whittaker shot a four under in the second round to sit second, at six under par. Keegan Bronnenberg, of Indianapolis holds the final podium position, at four under par. Seven golfers are tied for fourth, at three under.
