WINTER PARK, Fla. – Rollins Athletics has announced Chuck Schall as interim head coach of the Rollins softball program for the 2026-27 academic year. Schall takes the helm after serving as an assistant coach with the Rollins baseball program for the past six seasons.
Christine Roser-LeFevers stepped down as head coach following five seasons leading the Tars, choosing to pursue other career opportunities while focusing on her family. During her tenure, Rollins compiled a 160-71 overall record, 94-56 in Sunshine State Conference play. A 2011 Rollins graduate, Roser-LeFevers also enjoyed one of the most decorated playing careers in program history, helping the Tars capture three consecutive SSC championships and earn four NCAA Tournament berths while collecting four First Team All-SSC selections and a pair of All-America honors. Rollins thanks Roser-LeFevers for her contributions to the program and wishes her well in her future endeavors.

Schall is no stranger to Rollins, with his most recent tenure marking his third stint coaching the Blue and Gold. He returned to the Tars prior to the 2021 baseball season, having previously served under legendary Rollins Hall of Fame coach Boyd Coffie in 1986 and 1987 before returning to the program from 1997-2003.
A longtime fixture in the Central Florida baseball community, Schall has coached extensively at both the high school and collegiate levels following his playing career at Flagler College. He previously served on the staff at UCF and held head coaching positions at West Orange, Ocoee and Olympia High Schools. At Olympia, Schall elevated the program to a No. 1 national ranking by MaxPreps in 2015 while developing numerous student-athletes who went on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels.
Schall also spent five seasons as a head coach in the Florida Collegiate Summer League. During that span, his teams made four playoff appearances, advanced to three championship series and captured two league titles. He was twice recognized as the league's Coach of the Year, earning the honor in 2016 and 2019.
Beyond the field, Schall has served as an advisor to the Rollins chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), further extending his involvement within the campus community and his relationships with student-athletes across the department.
Schall assumes leadership of the softball program effective immediately as the Tars prepare for the 2026-27 academic year and the upcoming 2027 season.
