WINTER PARK, Fla. (May 13, 2026) – The Sunshine State Conference announced its postseason softball awards on Tuesday, with two Tars earning First Team All-SSC honors.
Rachel Matthiesen and
Daylin Hejtmanek represented Rollins on the first team following standout seasons for the Tars.
Matthiesen, a sophomore designated player from Chuluota, Florida, was one of the top offensive threats in the SSC throughout the season. She appeared in 45 games with 40 starts, batting .328 with 15 extra-base hits and a team-leading 36 RBI. She also posted a .537 slugging percentage and a .982 fielding percentage.
Hejtmanek, a graduate student outfielder from Altamonte Springs, Florida, provided consistency at the top of the Rollins lineup. She hit .345 across 35 appearances, totaling 29 hits, 20 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases while leading the team with a .446 on-base percentage.
The pair helped guide Rollins to a 29-16 overall record and a 17-13 mark in Sunshine State Conference play this season.
