MELBOURNE, Fla. (May 1, 2025) – The Sunshine State Conference announced its 2024-25 Men's Golf All-Conference teams on Thursday, with three Tars among those honored.
RJ Glod earned a spot on the second team, while
Sean Dobson and
Andrew Clark were each selected to the third team.
Glod currently holds a 73.4 stroke average, third-best among qualified golfers on the team, with 1761 strokes in 24 rounds, just two strokes more than Clark and three strokes more than Dobson. The senior also led the squad with 11 rounds of par or better, including a season-low 68 at the Southeastern Collegiate on March 10th. The Ponte Vedra Beach native has finished in the top 20 three times this year, with two top-five results, highlighted by his medalist performance at The Citrus Intercollegiate in October where he paced the field with a four-under 212.
Dobson has a 73.3 stroke average, tops among qualifed Rollins golfers, and his 1758 strokes in 24 rounds put him just one stroke better than Clark. This season, the sophomore has carded eight rounds of par or better, including the team's individual low round of the year, a 67 at The Citrus Intercollegiate on October 29th. The Bolton, England native leads the team with five top-20 finishes, including a tie for fourth in the season-opening Jay Jennison Cup in September.
Clark is second on the team with a 73.3 stroke average, just one stroke above Dobson's total of 1758 in 24 rounds. The Winter Park native has fired seven rounds of par or better, with his season low of 68 coming at the Jay Jennison Cup on September 23rd. The junior has finished in the top 20 four times and twice in the top five, with his season-best result of third place coming at the Lenoir-Rhyne Fall Invitational in October.
