NORMAN, Okla. (July 29, 2025) – The 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division II have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
This year, Rollins was represented on the prestigious list by three student-athletes: Clarence Chapman,
Andrew Clark, and
RJ Glod.
Chapman played in seven events for Rollins this season, finishing with a stroke average of 75.1. His low round for the year was 72, which he hit on four separate occasions, including the Southeastern Intercollegiate, which led to his best finish of 14th overall.
Clark was fantastic in his first year with the Tars, seeing action in nine events while posting an average of 73.5. He had two rounds under 70, with his best effort coming in the second round of the Jay Jennison Cup as he carded a 68, helping him to a fourth-place finish. He then followed that up with a 3rd overall at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational. Clark was named 3rd-Team All-SSC.
Glod led the team with a 73.2 average across nine tournaments. He shot four rounds under 70, and took home the gold at the Citrus Intercollegiate at Championsgate in October. He was named 2nd-team All-SSC.
207 NCAA Division II athletes from 78 schools earned 2024-25 Cobalt All-America Scholar honors.
