"It was great to start our spring season with a solid finish in a strong field," remarked head coach
Julie Garner. "Our team once again showed that each player is capable of shooting the numbers needed to compete at a championship level. We still need to work on doing it as a team, from top to bottom on the right days. Our finish today was not what we were hoping for, but it's all part of the learning process. Congrats to Tampa on solid play and their great finishing round."
Next up for the Tars is a quick turnaround to next week when they travel to Lakeland to play in the Lady Moc Classic, hosted by Florida Southern on February 24 and 25.
