OCALA, Fla. (February 16, 2025) – The Rollins women's swimming team finished in sixth place at the Sunshine State Conference Championships, held at Florida F.A.S.T. in Ocala. The Tars earned a total of 248 points at the event, finishing behind Tampa (948 points), Nova Southeastern (943), Lynn (602.5), Florida Southern (383.5), and Florida Tech (272).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Janie Inscore opened the evening with a 14th-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 17:54.11 to score three points, with Katie Canty finishing just behind her in 15th place with a time of 18:02.41 to score two points.
- Lizzie Sander was second in the B Final, 10th overall, of the 200-yard backstroke in 2:04.50, scoring seven points, while Elliot Fox took 16th overall in 2:08.76 to add one point.
- Taiylor Tegler won the B Final (ninth overall) of the 200-yard breaststroke with a B-cut time of 2:18.44 to tack on nine points, while Brooke Postell placed 15th (2:25.87) to add two points and Canty was 16th (2:27.07) to score another point.
- The Tars closed out the night with Madison Patel, Amelia Kondal, Sarah Brown, and Sander finishing seventh in the A Final of the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:34.62 to earn 24 points, while Lauren Diehl, Danielle Boland, Audrey Perry, and Postell clocked a 3:37.02 to take sixth in the B Final, 14th overall, scoring six points.

The Tars will now wait to see which athletes qualify for the NCAA II Championships, which take place March 12-15 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
