OCALA, Fla. (February 14, 2025) – The Rollins women's swimming team is in sixth place after the third day of the Sunshine State Conference Championships, taking place at Florida F.A.S.T. in Ocala. The Tars have a total of 134 points through three days, trailing Tampa (461 points), Nova Southeastern (446), Lynn (303.5), Florida Southern (201.5), and Florida Tech (135).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Madison Patel opened the evening with an eighth-place time of 56.45 in the 100-yard butterfly A Final, scoring 11 points.
- Lauren Diehl was third in the B Final of the same event, which placed her 11th overall with a time of 56.64, adding six points to the team total.
- Taiylor Tegler finished seventh in the B Final (15th overall) of the 400-yard individual medley in 4:31.12, earning two points.
- The Tars closed out the night with a fifth-place result in the 400-yard medley relay, as the team of Patel, Tegler, Diehl, and Sarah Brown clocked a 3:47.84, scoring 28 points.
- Lizzie Sander, Brooke Postell, Audrey Perry, and Amelia Kondal finished the relay in 3:58.32, good for sixth in the B Final, 14th overall, which earned six points.

The Tars will return to the pool for day four of the SSC Championships tomorrow, with prelims set for 10 a.m. and finals scheduled for 6 p.m. Tomorrow's events include the 500-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard butterfly, and 200-yard freestyle relay.
