FORT PIERCE, Fla. (November 23, 2024) – The Rollins women's swim team participated in the River Invitational hosted by Indian River State College, finishing fourth of five teams. The Tars scored 610 points to finish ahead of Barry (47 points), while trailing IRSC (1216.5 points), Florida Southern (926 points), and St. Thomas (744.5 points).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The team of Madison Patel, Taiylor Tegler, Sarah Brown, and Amelia Kondal earned a second-place result in the 400-yard medley relay on Thursday in 3:51.78.
- The same quartet placed second in Friday's 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:44.57.
- Individually, Patel touched the wall third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.79 and she was also third in the 100-yard backstroke in 58.06.
- Tegler was runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke with a B-cut time of 1:03.77.
- Lizzie Sander took third in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:05.78.

Rollins is now off until the new year, when they will travel to Melbourne for a tri-meet at Florida Tech featuring Oklahoma Christian on January 10 at 3 p.m.
