MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (April 25, 2023) – The Rollins men's golf team posted an even-par 284 in the final round of the 2023 Sunshine State Conference Championship at Normandy Shores Golf Club in Miami Beach on Tuesday, finishing at +4 for the tournament to place seventh. The Tars wrapped up the event three strokes behind Tampa and one stroke ahead of Embry-Riddle.
Will Koepke and
Connor Jones both tied for 22nd at +2 after both golfers shot one-under 70s on Tuesday.
Nicholas Diebel,
Jacob Hair, and
Franco Misdorp all finished in a tie for 26th at +3. In the final round, Hair posted an even-par 71, while Diebel and Misdorp both recorded two-over 73s.
Barry shot a 17-under 267 on Tuesday, finishing the tournament at -35 to win by 19 strokes over Saint Leo (-16) and 25 shots clear of Nova Southeastern (-10).
Barry's A.J. Ewart posted an eight-under 63 to finish atop the individual leaderboard at -16, while his teammate, Felipe Alvarez, was second at -10. Four golfers finished tied for third at -8.
