Game One
Rollins 6
Barry 4
Ashley Troutman got things started for the Tars in the top of the first with a bunt single. After stealing second, she moved to third base on a
Grace Germer bunt single. Two batters later,
Taylor Waters ripped a single to center to plate Troutman and move Germer to third. Moments later, a bases loaded walk from
Morgan Lebeda brought in Germer to make it 2-0 Tars.
Emily MacMullen was dealing in the circle for Rollins, keeping the Buccaneers off the board for four innings. In the fourth, Rollins added three more runs when Troutman tripled to right-center, bring in
Kaeli Zahradnik and Lebeda. One pitch later, Troutman would come in on a passed ball to make the score 5-0.
The Tars scored their sixth and final run of the game in the top of the fifth on a Lebeda RBI single.
Barry made it interesting in the fifth when they scored four runs on just one hit. They were helped by two Tars errors, which made all of the runs unearned. With the tying run at the plate (twice), MacMullen was able to induce a lineout and a strikeout to escape further damage.
Neither team would score again, giving MacMullen her twelfth win of the season. She had seven strikeouts in the game. Troutman led the offense with two hits, two runs, two RBI and a steal.
Game Two
Rollins 4

Final/12
Once again, Troutman got the party started with a leadoff single. She then stole second base, and third as well. An error on the throwdown from the catcher trickled into the outfield, allowing her to score. Barry was quick to respond though with a run off a two-out single in the bottom half.
Innings two through four were quiet as
Taylor Hartman and Cassandra Lee both stymied the opposing offenses. The Bucs took a 2-1 lead in the fifth on a bases loaded walk.
Rollins took advantage of some pitching accuracy issues in the sixth.
Brie Michelli walked after a ten-pitch at bat. She then advanced to second and third on two separate wild pitches.
Claire Long was able to drive a flyball to left deep enough to bring in Michelli and tie the game.
Unfortunately, Barry would retake the lead in their next at bat. Cheyenn Fulton ripped a single to center that brought in Becka Mellor for a 3-2 lead.
Rollins was not done yet. Lebeda led off the seventh with a single, and two batters later moved to second on a base hit from Zahradnik. Troutman then grounded out, but moved both runners up a base. This proved crucial as Zahradnik was able to score on a wild pitch with two outs to tie the game. Rollins was not able to score again, leaving runners stranded on second and third.
The game would end up going to extra innings after MacMullen reentered the game in relief of Hartman. She would end up tossing 6.2 scoreless innings. The game went final in the 12th inning thanks to Troutman, who led off with another single. After the next two batters were put out, Troutman was able to swipe second base. The next hitter was
Taylor Waters, who pumped a line drive into center, scoring Troutman to go up 4-3. MacMullen put down the Bucs in order in the bottom half, wrapping up the game with a swinging strikeout.
The two teams will match up once more on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
