MELBOURNE, Fla. (Nov. 18, 2023) – The Rollins men's swimming team earned 242.5 points on Friday, giving the Tars a fifth-place total of 441.5 points after two days of the Panther Invitational. Indian River State leads with 839.5 points, followed by Florida Southern (631.5 points) and St. Thomas (513.5 points).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The team of Luke Dinges, Tully Njoroge, Michael Tucker, and William Slowey clocked a third-place time of 1:29.12 in the 200-yard medley relay to kick off the day.
- Skylar Murphy then finished seventh in the 400-yard individual medley in 4:08.41.
- Dinges came in fourth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 48.33.
- Trey Carter placed fifth in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:39.17.
- Slowey earned a second-place result in the 100-yard breaststroke in 54.07.
- Rollins capped the day with a fifth-place result in the 800-yard freestyle relay, as Slowey, Njoroge, Carter, and Seth Basinger posted a time of 6:46.90.

The Panther Invitational concludes with day three tomorrow in Melbourne. Prelims are set for 10 a.m. with the finals getting underway at 5 p.m.
