EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Rollins returned to the pool on day three of the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, highlighted by a school-record performance from senior
Luke Dinges in the 100 butterfly.
Dinges touched in 47.36 during the morning prelims, shaving time off his previous program record in the event. The senior opened the race in 22.90 before closing strong over the final 50 to reset the Rollins mark.
Sophomore Taiylor Tegler also competed for the Tars, swimming the 400 individual medley. Tegler posted a 4:28.69, splitting 59.42 at the 100 and closing in 31.08 on the freestyle leg to finish her race.
The Tars will return to action tomorrow with Tegler and Slowey in the 100 breast alongside Dinges in the 200 fly. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m.
