Men’s Golf in Sixth Place After First Two Rounds of Jay Jennison Cup

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Sept. 26, 2022) – The Rollins men's golf team posted a 295-302=597 on Monday at the Jay Jennison Cup, good for sixth place with one round to play in the tournament. Drew Lanier (72-75=147) had the best day on the course for the Tars, sitting in a tie for 14th place.
 
Connor Jones (72-76=148) is just one stroke behind Lanier in a tie for 20th, while Warut Wongungroj (75-76=151) is tied for 30th. Danny Taggart (77-75=152) is tied for 35th, and Axel Einarsson (76-77=153) is tied for 40th overall.
 
Playing as individuals, Jacob Hair is tied for 26th with a 150 (74-76) and Will Koepke is tied for 49th with a 156 (76-80).
 
Mount Olive leads the field with a two-over 578 (293-285), followed by the hosts, Flagler (287-293=580) and Lenoir-Rhyne (294-289=583) in the top three. Wingate sits in fourth with a 299-288=587 and Embry-Riddle rounds out the top five after shooting a 299-295=594.
 
Flagler's Trey Wilson tops the individual leaderboard after he shot five-under on Monday with a 71-68=139, while Wingate's Colin Dutton (72-68-140) and Belmont Abbey's Will Locey (71-69=140) are each just one stroke back. Mount Olive's Max Lindlan is in fourth after firing a two-under 142 (73-69), with Embry-Riddle's Ian Aldarando (72-71=143) one shot behind him in fifth.
