Tars Finish 2022 Ranked With Nation's Best

Rollins closes the 2022 campaign ranked No. 15 by the IWLCA

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (May 24, 2022) – Rollins closes the 2022 campaign ranked No. 15 by the IWLCA.  Rollins ends the year with an overall record of 13-4, going 4-3 in Sunshine State Conference play.

First time National Champion Indianapolis claims the unanimous top spot in the final poll.  Runners-Up East Stroudsburg take the No. 2 overall spot.  Perennial powers Adelphi and Queens occupy spots three and four, while Stonehill rounds out the top five.
 
Florida Southern leads the way among Sunshine State Conference schools, sitting at No. 7 to end the season.  Tampa ends their 2022 at No. 11.  Rollins earned the No. 15 overall ranking.  The Tars sit ahead of conference rivals No. 18 Lynn and No. 19 Embry-Riddle. Saint Leo and Florida Tech received votes.
 
The Tars narrowly missed postseason play with a 13-4 overall record, ranking fifth in the final South Region Poll.  The Tars picked up marquee wins over Limestone, Embry-Riddle, and Florida Southern during the regular season, before their season ended in the SSC Tournament Semifinals.  Caroline Gastonguay was named the Conference Player of the Year, and an All-American, highlighting the Tars' postseason accolades.
