NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (May 12, 2022) – Rollins placed a pair of student-athletes on the IWLCA All-South Region Teams.Â
Caroline Gastonguay continues to receive recognition for her campaign with a First Team honor, while
Megan DeGroat collects Second Team awards.

Caroline Gastonguay appeared in all 17 games this season. She tallied 77 points from 47 goals and 30 assists with a .595 shooting percentage. The senior from Lewiston, Maine, ranked second in Sunshine State Conference points per game, at 4.53, sixth in assists per game, at 1.76, and ninth in goals per game, at 2.76. Gastonguay is also Top-10 in league ground balls per game, with 2.29, and caused turnovers per game, 1.47. She adds this honor to a First Team All-SSC nod, SSC Player of the Year recognition, and a First Team USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American acknowledgement.

Megan DeGroat caps her senior campaign with Honorable Mention All-American honors. The lockdown defender for Rollins started 16 games, while causing 12 turnovers and picking up 13 groundballs. The Ambler, Pennsylvania native was also named Second Team All-Conference and a USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention All-American.

The IWLCA honored 128 student-athletes in Division II with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2022. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2022 All-American teams on May 19.
