The fifth place Tars closed the gap on fourth place Lynn down to just 26 points

CLEARWATER, Fla. (February 19, 2022) – The Tars closed the gap, but remain in fourth after the fourth day of the Sunshine State Conference Championship.  It was Beatriz Olivieri who again highlighted the Rollins effort, picking up a gold medal in the 500 Yard Freestyle.

Beatriz Olivieri continued her stellar meet during the morning swim, qualifying fourth in the 500 Yard Freestyle.  Jill Hughes, Alonna Clark, and Sydney Willis all earned spots in the event's B-Final.  Leora Rose and Danielle Boland advanced to the B-Final of the 100 Yard Backstroke, with Rose setting a new school record with a time of 57.86.  Abigayle Wood earned an A-Final berth in the 100 Yard breaststroke.  Lauren Diehl rounded out the morning qualifiers earning a B-Final place in the 200 Yard Butterfly.
