Rollins Travels to Lakeland for Key SSC Showdown

SET UP:
The No. 11 Tars will face No. 4 Florida Southern in a key Sunshine State Conference showdown with national implications.

No. 11 Rollins (3-1, 3-1 SSC):
Rollins rests at No. 11 in the latest IWLCA National Poll, and are coming off three straight wins.  Rollins continues to use a balanced offense, with three players registering double digit point totals. Eden Cooke leads the way seven goals and, a team high, six assists.  Rollins continues to hold opponents under the 70% on clears, highlighted by the fact that a pair of attacking players, Caroline Gastonguay and Taylor Kienle, lead the team with five cause turnovers a piece.
 
No. 4 Florida Southern (4-0, 3-0 SSC):
The Mocs have outscored their opponents 67-21 over four games, including wins over three teams who were ranked at the time of the contest.  Marina Jozokos leads the Florida Southern offense with 17 points, including 11 goals and six assists.  Hailey Daleo has found the back of the net a team best 13 times, while Sarah Grady has dished out seven helpers to pace the Mocs.  Brittany Iamele and Patricia Werker have split time in net, each allowing less than six goals per game.
 
NEXT:
Rollins will conclude SSC action next time out as they host the Palm Beach Atlnatic Sailfish at Barker Family Stadium.  First draw is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, at 4 p.m.
