WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 13, 2021) – Rollins dominated their first game in more than a year, downing the Florida Southern Mocs, 4-1, on the turf at Barker Family Stadium.

Rollins got goals from
Meghan Mosley,
Tayla Duffy,
Emma Architetto, and
Hunter Myers. For Duffy, Architetto, and Myers the tallies were their first in Blue and Gold. Janae Scott registered the only Florida Southern score.

Emma Beasley and
Noel Miller split time in net for Rollins while Grace Stec and Tori Routt each saw a half in net for the Mocs.

Mosley fired the Tars into the lead just before the 10 minute mark with a laser from outside the box.Â
Tayla Duffy headed home the Rollins second score five minutes after the halftime break, off a corner kick from
Bailey Tran. Florida Southern pulled the Tars back quickly thought, Scott breaking through the Rollins back line just one minute later. Architetto restored Rollins two goal advantage with a long range effort of her own, lifting the ball over the outstretched hand of Routt. Myers sealed the Tars win with a second headed corner, she skied over the Florida Southern defense to head home a
Chynna McGirt corner kick just before the 70 minute mark. Rollins controlled the final 20 minutes to see out the convincing victory.
