ORLANDO, Fla. (November 4, 2026) - The Sunshine State Conference announced their postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon, as voted on by league coaches. Among the honorees for All-SSC were defender
Amanda Caines, defender
Emma McMurry, and forward
Chloe Milton.
SSC Release
Caines was named 2nd Team All-SSC, the second time in three years she has garnered recognition from the conference. Known as one of the toughest defenders in the league, Caines was a constant in the Tars' lineup, logging more minutes (1325) that anyone else on the team aside from keeper
Lauren Mehos. Caines plays with a tenacity that is often unmatched by other players on the pitch, and is not afraid to get down and dirty when stopping the opponents' attack.
McMurry earns her first All-SSC nod as a third team defender. The 5-2 sophomore is not physically imposing, but she does not back down from any challenge. Head coach
Alicia Schuck praises her ability to close out on ballhandlers, forcing them into tough shots and turnovers. McMurry appeared in 15 games this season, totaling 1212 minutes. She had four shots on goal and added an assist against Eckerd.
Milton finds a spot on the third team as an at-large following an impressive freshman campaign. The Maryland native tied for the team lead in goals with three, and also had an assist. She appeared in all sixteen games (one of five players to do so) and totaled 1164 minutes. Two of her three goals this season were game-winners, helping the Tars to victories over Regis and Tampa.
