Greetings #TARnation!
The weather outside is delightful, and PSL season is in full swing, as are the Tars! We have a lot to catch up on, so let's get after it:Â Â
-Men's golf obliterated the competition at the Sunnehanna Collegiate, hosted by Pittsburgh-Johnstown in Pennsylvania. The Tars shot twelve under as a team, putting them 13 shots ahead of #5 Lee as well as the sixteen other teams in the field. Senior Sean Dobson was the individual runner-up with a 210 (-6). He was joined on the leaderboard by Packy Mokris (3rd), Clarence Chapman III (t5th), Jack Minutoli (8th), Gustav Ordel (t19th), and Mick Herron (t19th).Â
-Men's soccer tossed their second straight shutout, downing the previously unbeaten Embry-Riddle Eagles in Daytona by the score of 1-0. Finlay Prain continued his incredible season with his sixth goal of the season while Kilian Vallant recorded his second clean sheet of the year.Â
-Volleyball split their week, dropping a tough one at #3 Tampa on Friday before scoring a solid 3-1 road win at Florida Southern on Saturday. Vivian Scuteri recorded 15 kills in the two matches, leading the Tars with twelve on Saturday to go with her six blocks.Â
-Sailing split their squad between Jacksonville and Charleston last weekend. At the JAX Open, the Tars took 3rd place out of ten entrants. Adelaide Matzky and Mollie Wood recorded four Top-4 finishes, including three second-place efforts. In the Palmetto State, Rollins went 2-4 in the match race format, securing wins against Tennessee and UCF.Â
-Women's soccer dropped their only contest of the week, a 1-0 fight against Embry-Riddle on Wednesday.

-Men's soccer (4-2-1, 2-1 SSC) has a pair of conference matchups this week, traveling to Boca Raton to face reigning SSC champ Lynn (2-1-4, 1-1-1 SSC) on Wednesday before hosting #11 Florida Southern (8-1, 3-0 SSC) on Saturday. Rollins upset Lynn last year while they were ranked #1 in the country, but the Knights defeated the Tars in the SSC Championship game. Rollins won the last matchup with Southern, 3-2, in October of last year.Â
-Women's soccer (5-3, 2-1 SSC) has the reverse of the men, hosting Lynn (4-3-1, 0-2-1 SSC) on Wednesday, followed by a trip to Lakeland to face the Mocs (3-0-6, 0-0-3 SSC). The Knights have allowed the most goals (16) in the whole league this season, while Southern has the fewest goals scored (10). Look for the Tars to be on the offensive in these matchups!
-Volleyball (8-7, 1-3 SSC) will play host for a pair of matches this weekend. They've got the #13 Fighting Knights (11-2, 3-1 SSC) on Friday, and the Nova Southeastern Sharks (8-7, 1-3 SSC) on Saturday. Last year saw the Tars take the Knights to five sets on the road on Halloween, so hopefully a revenge game is in order at Warden Arena on Friday!
-Waterski is headed north to Alabama to participate in the SAC Regional. The top teams in the two-day event will earn bids to the National Championship later in October. The Tars are world class in the men's slalom, men's tricks, and women's tricks categories, so keep an eye out for some high scores here.
-Sailing is going back to Charleston for the third weekend in a row as they take part in the Fall Interconference. Did you know that no buildings in the city limits of Charleston are allowed to be taller than Saint Mathew's Church?Â
-Women's golf is itching to get back on the course following their effort in Boston two weeks ago. The Tars will host the NCAA Championship Preview at Mission Golf Club in Howey-in-the-Hills in conjunction with the Greater Orlando Sports Commission this weekend. The event will bring 16 of the top teams from all over the country to battle it out on El Campeon.Â
-The swim team will host their first official home event of the season as they welcome the Florida Tech Panthers to Alfond Pool on Saturday. It will be a GORGEOUS day on the water, so be sure to eat your lunch on the patio so you can cheer on the Tars. Sidenote, the men's team are ranked #21 in the country in the initial CSCAA national poll!
A reminder for all of our fans that admission to any Rollins home game is ABSOLUTELY FREE, so be sure to show up and show out for your Tars! If you can't make it in person, you can always follow the action with our
