ORLANDO, Fla. (February 23, 2026) - The Sunshine State Conference named their players of the week for games played February 16-22 on Monday afternoon. Among the honorees was men's basketball senior
Jah Nze, who was the Offensive Player of the Week.
Nze was incredibly efficient in the Tars' two games last week. In Wednesday's tilt versus the Barry Buccaneers, he scored a game-high 27 points on 11-20 (55%) shooting. He also grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists, which was tops for the Tars in both categories. He followed up that performance with a strong effort against #16 Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday. On Senior Day, Nze was good on 9 of his 18 shot attempts, leading to a team-high 25 points that included four three-pointers. He played 37 minutes, snaring four boards and delivering three assists.
This is the first SSC award for Nze this season. He is the third Tar (
Mayson Quartlebaum - Offense,
Omar Figueroa - Defense) to earn recognition this season.
