WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 24, 2026) – Rollins men's basketball saw five student-athletes recognized for their excellence on the court and in the classroom, earning CSC Academic All-District® honors, as announced by College Sports Communicators.
Marshall Klug: Senior, Business Management
Matus Malovec: Senior, Business Management
Ricky Ghedini: Senior, Business Management
Omar Figueroa: Senior, Business Management
Jah Nze: Senior, Business Management
The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically. Honorees must meet high standards both in competition and in the classroom, highlighting their commitment to excellence in all areas.
The five made significant contributions to the team this season alongside their commitment in the classroom.
Klug started 14 of 29 games this season, shooting 46.8 percent from the field while adding an impressive 90.1 percent from the free throw line.
Malovec also appeared in all 29 games with 16 starts, serving as a defensive anchor for the Tars. He averaged over five rebounds per game while adding 22 steals on the year.
Ghedini emerged as a key offensive weapon for Rollins, shooting 34.4 percent from three while averaging 8.4 points and five rebounds per game.
Figueroa started 26 of 27 games, leading the team in three-point percentage (41.1), threes made (72), assists (2.9), and steals (1.6) while averaging 16.3 points per game.
Nze started all 29 games for the Tars, pacing the squad with 17.9 points per game on 44.8 percent shooting while knocking down 125 free throws on the year.
Figueroa and Nze, both All-SSC selections, will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with national honorees set to be announced later this spring.
