Rollins VALORANT Scores Decisive First Win Over Arkansas State

WINTER PARK, Fla. (Sept. 25, 2024) - Rollins VALORANT won their first match of the Fall Semester over Arkansas State in a huge 2-0 blowout (13-6, 13-3). Rollins VALORANT starts the season at 1-0.

Arjun Gaind (sugardad) led the series with 48 eliminations, with Pradyumm Mallepally (Sheep) coming in second with 32 eliminations. The team had a total of 152 eliminations, 16 spike plants, and 5 spike defuses across both maps.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

Map 1 (Ascent)
  • Rollins led the first half of the game 10 rounds to 2 on their Attack side, with Arkansas making up 4 rounds in the second half. Rollins was able to pull together and finish the map 13-6 to send us to series point.
Map 2 (Abyss)
  • Rollins again led the first half of the map 10 rounds to 2 on Defense, but only allowed Arkansas to get 1 more round when they switched over to Attack. Rollins finished the map 13-3 to finish out the series.
