Rollins Overwatch 1-1 on the Weekend

A loss against Arkansas Tech and a win against Florida Poly put the record at 5-1

Winter Park, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2024) - Rollins Overwatch played a pair of games on Friday and Saturday nights. They dropped their first game of the season on Friday against Arkansas Tech but picked up a win on Saturday against Florida Poly.

The team struggled against the Arkansas Tech team's composition of heroes, struggling to find their footing at all in this game. The unusual team composition and Arkansas's incredibly good play led to a quick 0-3 loss for Rollins, the first of the season.

Rollins was able to find a win Saturday night against Florida Poly, taking the lessons they learned in the previous night's match. The team took the opportunity to make some roster changes of their own, switching Jack Rooth (Wildman841) to Support, Jarod Fuentes (JLux03) to Tank, and Randy Serrano Castro (wisefox) to DPS. These changes saw Rollins falter slightly, but they adapted well and were able to take the win 3-1. Jarod Fuentes (JLux03) earned three Play of the Games again this week in Saturday's match.
