Rollins VALORANT Secures Flawless Season

Winter Park, Fla. (Nov. 5, 2024) - Rollins VALORANT took home their seventh and final win of the regular season last night (13-1, 14-12) against the University of Arkansas, bringing their record to a flawless 7-0 in series and 14-0 in games. 

Chase Jaumot (Chase) led the charge in this series with 43 kills, with Chase Hollingsworth (Swinnable) following close behind with 41 kills of his own. Zachary Roach (ZSRoach) led in assists with 18, with Chase Hollingsworth (Swinnable) again coming in second behind him with 17. The team had a combined score of 165 kills, 61 assists, 11 spike plants, and six spike defuses across both maps.

Map 1 (Split)
 

•  Rollins started the series off with a bang on Split, finishing the first half of the map 11-1. The team didn't give UARK a chance to find their footing, taking the first two rounds of the second half to end the map quickly at 13-1.

Map 2 (Abyss)
 

• The first half of Abyss favoured UARK slightly, with them gaining the lead to end their Attack side 7-5. The second half of the map was incredibly even, with the game tied at 12-12 to send us to overtime. Rollins was able to secure the win after just two overtime rounds, ending the map at 14-12.
