The event was conducted as a series of head-to-head matchups with the other nine schools, with each school earning a berth in the event based on the SAISA Fall Championships standings.

The starting boats for the Tars were Hilton Kamps with Zi Burns, Jackson McGeough with Jane McKenzie, and Katherine Hamner with Julia Scott, while Sam Frushone and Julian Drakes opened as the alternates. Frequent rotations allowed everyone to get some playing time as Rollins raced each opponent twice over the course of the weekend.

The Tars finished seventh overall, going 5-13 in the head-to-head matchups. Rollins swept its two races with The Citadel and split with Clemson, Eckerd, and USF, while dropping both races to No. 10 College of Charleston, No. 19 Miami, Jacksonville, North Carolina State, and Florida State.

Rollins' three boats finished 1-2-3 in its first matchup with The Citadel, and took first, second, and sixth in Round 2. The Tars also went 1-2-6 in wins over Eckerd and USF in the first round, along with a 1-2-5 result to beat Clemson in the first round.

The Blue and Gold have improved at this event each of the past two years, going 0-10 in 2022 and 1-8 in 2023.

"The team continues to improve on boat speed and boat handling," Head Coach Esteban Forrer said. "We will continue to climb the scoreboard as the sailors become more familiar with the playbook."

College of Charleston came out on top, going 17-1, with Miami close behind at 16-2. Jacksonville and North Carolina State tied for third with both schools going 13-5, with JU earning the tiebreaker with a better score in its head-to-head matchups with the Wolfpack.
