MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (April 5, 2022) – The Tars fell five spots in the final round of the Battle at the Shore, finishing the event in 13
th place. Nicolas Diebel shot a 79 on the second day, leading Rollins with a tie for 25
th position.

The Tars shot a 309, 25 over, during the final 18 holes. Rollins adds that to opening day scores of 294 and 290 for a tournament total of 893, 41 over par.

The hosts, and top ranked, Barry ran away with the event tallying a score of seven under for the event. Nova Southeastern finished runners up with a 54 hole total of seven over par. Lynn rounded out the podium positions. Tampa, in fourth, finished one position of Eastern Florida State, to complete the top five.

Diebel registered a 79 in the final round, to add to scores of 69 and 72 over the opening 36 holes, bringing his event total to a seven over 220.Â
Connor Jones shot the low round of the day for Rollins, carding a 77, 71, and 73, as he climbed into a tie for 29
th.Â
Danny Taggart registered a three round total of 225 to finish in a tie for 48
th.Â
Warut Wongrungroj finished three strokes behind Taggart, in a tie for 58
th, while Will Koepke rounded out the Tars' lineup.

Barry Buccaneers registered a one, two, three finish. A.J. Ewart took medalist honors, Felipe Alvarez took runner up position, and Nicolas Quintero finished third. Emanuel Olofsson, of nova Southeastern, and Eloy Vigil, of Lynn, tied for fourth.
