ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (April 10, 2022) – Rollins sits sixth after one round at the 2022 Sunshine State Conference Championships, taking place at Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club.Â
Elizabeth Kondal sits inside the top ten to lead Rollins through 18 holes.

The Tars are in the middle of the pack, and just outside the top five, carding a 19 over, 303, in the first round. Rollins is just one shot back from a trio of teams tied for third position, while they hold a one stroke lead over Nova Southeastern.

Barry leads the field by four strokes, shooting nine over on the day. Embry-Riddle sits second at 13 over par. Saint Leo, Florida Southern, and Lynn all tie for third, at 302, 18 over par.

Elizabeth Kondal sits in a tie for seventh after 18 holes. The freshman went bogey free over the final 14 holes, and is only two strokes off the lead with a two over, 73.Â
Carla Alvarez Perez is one stroke back of her teammate, with a three over, 74. Bernadrita Villalba and
Olivia Tamburlini are tied in 28
th position, shooting a 78.Â
Katharina Hesse rounds out the Tars line up in 39
th.

Alice Gotbring, of Barry, and Mackenzie Dieter, of Embry-Riddle, are tied for the lead with rounds of even par. Four golfers finished 18 holes at one over par, tying for third.
