ORLANDO, Fla. (November 3, 2025) - The Sunshine State Conference announced their athletes of the week for games played October 27 through November 2. Among the honorees was freshman
Lindsay Lee, who was named the women's golfer of the week.
The freshman was the catalyst to the Tars' first-place finish at the Flagler Fall Slam last week. She started off with a 74 (+2) in the first round, but turned things up in the afternoon session. Using seven birdies to her advantage, Lee handed in a 67 (-5) at the end of round two, tying the tournament's lowest score ever. On Tuesday, she finished her event with a solid 70 (-2). Lee ended up in second-place overall with a score of 211 (-5), trailing only Flagler's Henriette Stranda (206).
Behind Lee's quality play, the Tars took first-place in the twelve-team event, winning by five strokes.
