CLEARWATER, Fla. (February 19, 2022) – Rollins continues to hold onto fourth position after another day of swimming at the Long Center.Â
Harold Lockhart again highlighted the Rollins efforts, taking home a silver medal in the 500 Yard Freestyle.

Both
Harold Lockhart and
Chance Ricca continued their impressive performances, qualifying fourth and fifth, both with NCAA B-Cut times, in the 500 Yard Freestyle.Â
Cameron Dolly also earned a night swim in the event, qualifying for the B-Final.Â
Tully Njoroge punched his ticket to the A-Final in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, while
Patrick Lester finished 11
th, good for a B-Final berth.Â
Connor Xu headlined four Tars who earned final spots in the 200 Yard Butterfly. Xu earned an A-Final spot, while
Michael Tucker,
Asa Marvel, and
Christopher Barker each earned B-Final places.

Lockhart demolished the previous school record by nine second on his way to a silver in the 500 Yard Freestyle final. The Sophomore registered his second NCAA A-Cut performance of the meet, stopping the clock in 4:20.94. Ricca just missed a podium spot of his own, finishing fourth in the event with an NCAA B-Cut time of 4:25.29. Dolly tallied a 13
th place result in the B-Final, while
Payden Knettles earned his spot in the B-Final, finishing 16
th.

Njoroge stopped the clock in 56.30 seconds, earning eighth place and setting a new school record, in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Lester also tallied points for the Tars with a 13
th place result in the B-Final.

Xu finished 7
th in the A-Final of the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:51.46. The B-Final of the event was littered with Tars. Tucker earning third, eleventh overall, Barker in sixth, 14
th overall, and Marvel in eighth, 16
th overall.

The Tars tallied a fourth place result in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.Â

Luke Bunnell,
Cruse Sweeney, and Lockhart teamed up to stop the clock in a school record time of 1:21.50.Â
Marco Ljubic, Xu, Tucker, and Ricca also registered a fourth in their heat, touching the wall in 1:24.17.

The first four teams remain the same in the standings. Nova Southeastern, with 625.5 points, hold a slight edge over Florida Southern, with 624 points. Tampa holds the bronze position. The Tars sit fourth for another day. Florida Tech jumped a spot, into fifth, with Lynn and saint Leo rounding out the field.
