DAVIE, Fla. (Oct. 3, 2022) – The Rollins men's golf team opened the NSU Shark Invitational at Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie with 36 holes on Monday. The Tars posted a 300-303=603 for the day to sit in 11th place.
Drew Lanier (76-74) and
Connor Jones (75-75) each shot 150 on Monday and are currently tied for 42nd place.
Danny Taggart is one stroke behind in a tie for 48th with a 72-79=151, followed by
Warut Wongrungroj (79-75=154, 62nd) and
Axel Einarsson (77-79=156, T-64th).
Jacob Hair is tied for 15th after carding a 71-72=143 playing as an individual.
Barry (284-283) and Nova Southeastern (283-284) are tied atop the leaderboard with identical one-under 567s. North Georgia is two strokes back (285-284=569) in third, with Georgia Southwestern (287-288=575) in fourth and Lynn (291-286=577) and Embry-Riddle (286-291=577) tied for fifth.
NSU's Will O'Neill leads the field with an eight-under 134 after posting a 71 followed by an eight-under 63 in round two. ERAU's Ian Aldarondo is second at six-under par (67-69=136), while Nova Southeastnern's Joseba Torres is third at four-under (68-70=138). Palm Beach Atlantic's Andrew Riley (73-66) and Barry's Amani D'Ambrosio (69-70) are tied for fourth with 139s.
