The Tars improved from the first round to the second, tallying a team score of 310 on the first 18, before improving that score to 306 in the second round. Rollins ended the first day of action at 40-over par, 316. The Tars are six shots behind sixth place Quinnipiac, and sit five shots in front on Monmouth, in eighth place.

Yale holds the 36-hole lead at the event, shooting nine-over through two rounds. The bulldogs are 12 shots clear of the hosts, Boston College, and the Boston University Terriers who sit tied for second. Columbia and Penn State are tied for fourth, four shots back of second place.

Olivia Tamburlini ends her first day of the 2021 campaign in 56
th place, with a score of 17-over.

Yale golfers occupy the first and third positions on the leader board. Ami Gianchandani sits in first, at three-under, with her teammate Alexis Kim in third. Flair Kuan of Boston University sits in between the two Bulldogs in second, after an even par day. Alexis Florio of Columbia, Fuge Zhang of Quinnipiac, and Christine Shao of Columbia are tied for fourth.
