One of the better defensive players on the team. Uses his size, strength, and speed to dominate around the cage... will be a huge asset for the Tars, and the coaches expect big things out of his leadership in his senior season...

2009:  Started and played in all 10 games for the Tars...  captain... headed up the defensive unit and took charge in key situations... collected 18 ground balls and notched 18 caused turnovers for second best on the team... had a career high four caused turnovers twice, and notched a career high five ground balls on March 1, 2009 against Grand Canyon... integral in the defensive end both on and off the game field...

2008:  Played in all 15 contests, starting 12... racked up 23 ground balls, including a season high four twice... earned six caused turnovers on the season... was a long pole defensive anchor throughout the entire season...

High School: Four year letterwinner in lacrosse and basketball, three year letterer in soccer... played one year of varsity football as a tight end and was awarded the Most Improved Player award. Helped lead his team to the NEPSAC Basketball Championship in both 2002 and 2004... Was on the Deans List and High Honors lists in both junior and senior year.

Personal: Born March 24, 1987... son of Theodore and Lynette Malloch... has two brothers, Ian and Trevor, and a sister, Morgan...  brother Ian was captain of the crew team at Yale... majoring in International Business with minors in Spanish and Studio Art... member of Alpha Tau Omega, as well as the Rod and Reel Club at Rollins...
