Assistant Coach: 2007-08 through 2024-25

On May 28, 2025, Tom Kienle was named the second head coach in the history of Rollins Women's Lacrosse. His promotion followed 18 years as an assistant to the program alongside Dennis Short.

Under "TK's" guidance, the lacrosse program at Rollins reached the national semifinals within five years of its inception. Kienle helped Rollins jump from a new program to one of the premier lacrosse program's in all of Division II. His service was nationally recognized when he was named IWLCA Division II Assistant Coach of the Year in both 2009-10 and 2011-12.

A Long Island native, Kienle traveled to Columbus, Ohio to join the Ohio State Buckeyes in 1988, followed by a move to Orlando in 1992 where he received his B.A. in Healthcare Administration and his M.A. Degree in Educational Leadership.

In 1993, Kienle started the varsity boys' lacrosse program at Lake Howell High School. Four years later, he started the girls' varsity program.  For the next twelve years, Kienle's teams won multiple district and conference championships, while many of his players received All-American honors and continued their lacrosse careers at the collegiate level.

Kienle has been involved in many camps and youth lacrosse organizations across the state of Florida. He is currently a part time physical education teacher at a local elementary school while coaching full time at Rollins.

Tom and his wife, Rita, live in Orlando with their children. His daughters Taylor and Paige both played for the Tars women's lacrosse team while earning their Masters degrees. His son, Thomas, is a current member of the varsity men's lacrosse team.
