Conner Knaresboro joins the Tars men's lacrosse team as an assistant coach for the 2022-2023 school year.
Knaresboro comes to Rollins after spending the last three seasons as the assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Fla. The Hornets compiled a 25-16 record including a 2020 season that saw the Hornets 8-0 and ranked #1 in Florida on MaxPreps before canceling the season due to Covid-19. The defense held opponents to a 6.95 goals against average during those three seasons.
Prior to Bishop Moore, Knaresboro held the same position at his alma mater, Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Fla. He coached the Huskies to a 13-6 record in 2019 and helped them earn the program's first ever win over Lake Mary.Â
A native of Oviedo, Fla. Knaresboro played midfield at fellow SSC school, Saint Leo University (D2). He played in all 19 games for the Lions as a senior including the National Championship game against Merrimack College. Knareboro earned his bachelor's degree from Saint Leo University in 2018.
