ORLANDO, Fla. (September 22, 2026) - The Sunshine State Conference announced their Players of the Week for games played September 14-20 on Tuesday morning. Among the honorees was Rollins goalkeeper
Kilian Vallant, who was named Defensive Player of the Week.
The Tars only had one game on the slate last week, but Vallant made sure it was a win. Against Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, he saw twelve shots come his way, including four on target. He was a brick wall in front of the net, recording four saves while posting his first clean sheet of the season. He also defended against five Sailfish corner kicks in the match.
This is his first SSC Player of the Week award. He is the second defender of the week for the Tars this season (
Jaden Splunge), and third overall winner (
Pablo Herrero, Offense).
The Tars are back in action on Wednesday on the road at Embry-Riddle.
