CLEVELAND, OH (August 26, 2026) – A total of 136 Rollins student-athletes were recognized as recipients of the 2025-26 Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Awards, the organization announced.
The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association provides educational and networking opportunities, works to enhance operating standards and ethics, and promotes the overall prestige and understanding of the Division II athletics director profession. The D2 ADA is administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
The Academic Achievement Awards, now in their 19th year, recognize the academic accomplishments of student-athletes competing in NCAA Division II championship-sponsored sports. More than 21,000 student-athletes from 179 institutions earned recognition during the 2025-26 academic year. The D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards program has recognized more than 211,000 student-athletes since its inception.
To qualify for the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have completed a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college-level work and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during the previous academic year.
Rollins was one of seven Sunshine State Conference institutions represented, with the SSC placing 1,119 student-athletes on the list of honorees. The conference was one of nine nationwide to have more than 1,000 student-athletes recognized.
The recognition of 136 Tars further reflects Rollins' continued commitment to excellence in all aspects of the student-athlete experience. Through their dedication in the classroom and in competition, Rollins student-athletes continue to uphold a standard of achievement that extends well beyond their respective sports.
