WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Rollins rowing team enters the final stretch of the 2025-26 season ranked fifth nationally as the Tars prepare to compete at the Dad Vail Regatta hosted by Jefferson this weekend on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, New Jersey. The regatta will begin on Friday at 8 a.m.
Rollins has continued to establish itself among the nation's top programs throughout the spring, putting together strong performances against some of the top competition in Division II. The Tars most recently competed at the Sunshine State Conference Championships, continuing their momentum by bringing home the SSC Championship Trophy.
The Dad Vail Regatta serves as one of the premier events in collegiate rowing and will provide another opportunity for Rollins to strengthen its postseason resume ahead of NCAA selections later this month. NCAA Championship selections are scheduled to be announced on May 18, with the event taking place on May 29-30.
Throughout the season, the Tars have consistently impressed across multiple boats, highlighted by strong performances from the Varsity Eight and Varsity Four crews.
Rollins will travel to New Jersey looking to carry momentum into the postseason as the program aims for another appearance at the NCAA Division II Rowing Championships. Click the links for more information on the
