GILBERT, Az. (February 18, 2026) -The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released their first rankings poll since the preseason today and Tar fans will find a familiar name near the top. Rollins came in at #14 in the latest team poll, the highest designation since 2015. That season, Rollins ranked #9 in the first poll of the spring competition.
Â
A perfect 3-0 start was rewarded by the ITA rankings committee who kept last night's opponent, Flagler, at #4. Rollins also owns a win over #15 Florida Southern, who slotted in at #11 in the preseason. The Tars, meanwhile, have skyrocketed up the rankings moving from out of the poll completely to #14.
Â
The Sunshine State Conference had six members receive a top 25 designation. Barry and Nova Southeastern each topped the poll at #1 and #2 respectively, while Embry-Riddle earned a top ten ranking slotting in at #6. Rollins came in at 14, with Florida Southern one spot behind. Finally, Lynn ranked #19.
Â
The Tars will look to continue their climb in the polls on Friday when the Eckerd Tritons come to town. The 3pm match marks the celebration of Ladies in Tennis.
