Novoa Collects Academic All-American Honors

The Tars sophomore was named to CSC's third team for her success on the court and in the classroom

GREENWOOD, IN. (June 2, 2026) – The 2025-26 Academic All-America® Women's Tennis Teams were announced Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators. Tars sophomore Alyssa Novoa slotted into the third team for her success both on the court and in the classroom.

Novoa excelled on the court throughout her first year in Winter Park. The Apopka native finished the season ranked in the top five nationally for all singles players. She boosted a 15-3 record playing from the top line and added an appearance on the Sunshine State Conference first team for all singles competitors.

In the classroom, Novoa was outstanding as well. The Business Management Major finished the Spring semester with a strong GPA as part of a 3.75 mark set by the team. Alongside Novoa, seniors Sydney Eckstein and Milla Falster had a perfect 4.0. Rollins junior and SAAC President Stella Fruijtier also wrapped up the semester with a 4.0.
