Rollins Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2026 Team Captains

WINTER PARK, FLA. (January 6, 2026) - Rollins Men's Lacrosse has announced its team captains for the upcoming 2026 season. Seniors Charlie Metz, Logan Myers, Craig Wexelblatt, and Dean Giacobbe will lead the Tars as they look to add on to the program's success this spring.

#11 | Charlie Metz
Midfield | Dallas, Texas
A steady presence in the midfield since his first season on campus, Metz enters 2026 as a three-time All-SSC selection and USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American. He appeared in all 18 games last season, finishing second on the team with 35 ground balls while adding seven caused turnovers and three points. Known for his toughness between the lines and consistency in big moments, Metz has played in 49 career games for the Tars.

#12 | Logan Myers
Midfield | Marietta, Georgia
One of the most productive offensive midfielders in the SSC throughout his career, Myers returns for his senior season after ranking among the team leaders in goals in each of his first three years. In 2025, he tallied 20 goals and 26 points across 17 games, including a three-goal, one-assist performance against Anderson. He is a two-time Second Team All-SSC honoree.

#18 | Craig Wexelblatt
LSM | Mason, Ohio
Wexelblatt anchors the Tars' defensive midfield after a standout 2025 campaign in which he earned All-SSC Third Team honors. He appeared in all 18 games with 16 starts and led Rollins with 25 caused turnovers, ranking seventh in the SSC at 1.39 per game, while adding 26 ground balls and an assist.

#22 | Dean Giacobbe
Defense | Milton, Georgia
Giacobbe rounds out the leadership group after starting 17 games on defense in 2025. He finished the year with 12 ground balls and seven caused turnovers, continuing a steady rise that began during his freshman season. A physical and disciplined defender, Giacobbe gives the Tars another veteran voice on the back line.

The Tars open the 2026 regular season on Sunday, February 1 at 12 p.m., hosting Florida Southern at Cahall-Sandspur Field in Winter Park.
