MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (September 27, 2025) - Women's soccer earned a hard-fought draw against Barry on Saturday playing to a 0-0 tie. Rollins now stands at 4-2-1 (0-1-1 SSC) while the Bucs move to 3-1-4 (0-0-2 SSC).
Each team found space for two shots on goal in the first half, but
Lauren Mehos and Marlen Hernandez were up to the task to keep the scoreboard empty.
Mehos was tested early in the second half with a shot from Barry just three minutes in, but came through again with the stop. She added two more saves in the 70th and 73rd minute to give her five for the game.
The Tars got one last look from
Emma Griner in the 86th minute, but Hernandez matched her opponent with the save to maintain the clean sheet.
This is just the second game of the season that Rollins failed to score a goal. On the defensive end, it is the Tars' fourth shutout.
Next up for Rollins is a road match at Tampa on Wednesday, October 1. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
