STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (September 22, 2025) - Women's golf put together a solid showing at the Nittany Lion Invitational over the past two days, taking ninth place in the 16-team field comprised of D-I schools.

In Sunday's first round, the Tars finished fifteen-over.
Lindsay Lee was the top performer with a 74 (+2) that included one birdie and 14 pars.
Alisha Rametra was one shot behind her at 75, followed by a 76 from
Leah Li and a 78 from
Sarah Knitter.
The second round was also played on Sunday. Lee once again led the attack, shooting a 75 that included three birdies in the round. Li matched her round one score with a 76, including an even par 36 on the back nine. Knitter improved her standing with a 76 helped by a one-under 35 on the back nine. Freshman
Addy Vogt rounded out the scoring in round two with an 80 as the Tars finished the round at +19.
Monday's final round saw an improvement from the girls. Li took the reigns as low scorer, firing a 74 with three birdies. Knitter improved for the second-straight round, whittling her score down to 75 for the day. Lee carded a 76, and Vogt improved as well with a 78 to give the Tars a +15.
Rollins ended the event at +49, good for a tie with Bucknell for ninth place. Penn State held on for the one-stroke victory with a final of +14, one shot ahead of the Delaware Blue Hens.
On the individual board,
Lindsay Lee was the top performer for Rollins, finishing tied for 30th with a 74-75-76=225 (+9).
Leah Li was one shot back at +10, good for 34th overall.
The Tars will have a few weeks off to regroup before heading back to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the annual Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational. That event will tee off on Friday, October 17.
