FRISCO, Texas (July 13, 2026) – The 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced today with 1,551 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. Among the honorees were three Rollins Tars:
Sarah Knitter,
Youyang Li, and
Alisha Rametra.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players. To be selected, a student-athlete must:
• Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
• Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
• Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
Rametra, a sophomore, and Li, a freshman, were two of three Tars to play all 29 rounds last season. Knitter missed one event, totaling 26 rounds. All three golfers were named to the SSC Commissioner Honor Roll for their studious efforts in the classroom. Rollins has been represented on the All-American Scholar list every year since it's inception.
