Rollins Softball Welcomes Jackie McKenna as Assistant Coach

WINTER PARK, Fla. (July 9, 2025) – The Rollins College softball program is excited to announce the addition of Jackie McKenna as an Assistant Coach to its staff ahead of the 2025-26 season.

McKenna joins the Tars following a standout career at Mississippi State University, where she was a versatile contributor as a designated player, catcher, and outfielder. During her time with the Bulldogs, she appeared in over 200 games, earning a reputation for her consistency on both sides of the ball. She recorded a .997 fielding percentage in 2023— tied for second-best in MSU single-season history—while also ranking among the team leaders in RBI and doubles.

Beyond the field, McKenna was equally as impressive. She earned multiple NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, SEC Honor Roll selections, a place on the 2023 SEC Community Service Team, and the recognition of the MSU Dowsing-Bell Perseverance Award.

McKenna holds a bachelor's degree in criminology and a master's degree in Workforce Educational Leadership from Mississippi State. A native of Parkland, Florida, she was a standout at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where she served as team captain and earned All-State honors while also competing for the New Jersey Intensity travel program.
