SPARKS, Md. (May 28, 2025) – USA Lacrosse has announced its NCAA II Men's Lacrosse All-Americans, and a quartet of Tars received Honorable Mention, including
Charlie Metz,
Sam Mattson,
Frankie Hapney, and
Jack Johnstone. In addition, Johnstone was also named an Honorable Mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).

Johnstone, who was an All-SSC First Team honoree, finished eighth in the SSC in goals per game (1.81) and ninth in points per game (2.50). He leads the team in goals (35), assists (14), and points (49), and was fourth on the squad with 34 ground balls.
Mattson, another First Team All-SSC selection, was 11th in the SSC with 1.69 goals per game and 13th with 2.31 points per game. He finished second to Johnstone in goals (30) and points (40) and third on the team in assists with 10.
Hapney, who was also named First Team All-SSC, closed out the regular season ranked eighth in the conference with 3.38 ground balls per game, and his 44 ground balls this year are tops on the team. In addition, Hapney was third on the club with 15 caused turnovers and contributed four goals this year.
Metz, a Third Team All-SSC selection, picked up 35 ground balls, second-most on the team, and caused seven turnovers, tied for seventh-most on the club this season. He also netted three points on a goal and two assists this season.
